Restorative Copper Stain Poultice

Activated clay-based poultice for the drawing of copper salts from masonry.

Restorative 'Clay-Free' Ammonium Carbonate Poultice

Special recipe, low rinse, activated poultice for converting carbon sulphation / gypsum crust.

Restorative Ammonium Carbonate Poultice is used for cleaning masonry, primarily for the softening of ‘Carbon Sulphation’ deposits. This poultice contains fumed silica in an ammonium carbonate solution. The material is not classified as hazardous however the product gives off ammonia vapour and should be used in a well ventilated area. PPE must include gloves and eye protection. Use clean water to remove in the event of skin contact. Respiratory protection will require a cartridge suitable for ammonia vapour. Refer to HSDS & Technical

Storage
The product is non hazardous. Store in closed / air tight containers and protect from frost. Do not allow into a water course.

Restorative 'Browning' Poultice

Activated clay-based poultice for the removal of ‘browning out’ and gypsum films.

Trowel / float application.

Before Use: Refer to Method Statements, including MSDS for safety advice. Protect and or mask adjacent sensitive areas. Remove loose surface deposits with a stiff nylon brush - Not a metal wire brush. Mix the product, including any surface liquid into the paste before use.
Coverage
Application: Once thoroughly mixed, apply with a plastic or stainless steel tool to a thickness of approximately 0.5cm to the stained areas. Cover the applied product with polythene or similar plastic material to prevent the poultice from becoming dried or washed off, during the active period. Allow the poultice to draw the stain for a period of 6-24 hours, before gently removing the residues with a plastic tool, scraper or brush and then washing the area down. Repeat as necessary.
Storage
Precautions: This product contains Tetrapotassium Pyrophosphate, use gloves and wash hands thoroughly. Irritating to eyes and skin. Wear suitable gloves and eye protection when both opening and using product. In the event of contact with eyes, wash immediately and continuously with copious amounts of clean water. Use in a well ventilated area. If in contact with skin, wash promptly with clean water. If symptoms persist seek medical advice and show this label. Avoid contact with strong Alkalies, Silver. If poultice is left unattended, restrict unauthorised access and prevent tampering to product.

Restorative Iron Stain Poultice

Restorative Silicone Poultice

Ready Mixed Poultice product for the removal of silicone leaching in masonry, from mastic staining.

Dwell
The working temperature should be between 2-25°C. Dwell time is normally in the range of 10-30 minutes. Remove while paint remains in a softened condition

A thickness of approximately 4mm equates to approximately 6kg of softener per square metre
