Restorative Paint Softener - Acrylic Type

A thixotropic gel for softening 'plasticised' masonry and emulsion paints, 'hammered finish' and some car paints.

Suitable for internal and external use, it is highly water-soluble.

Brush, roller or spray applied.

Dwell
The working temperature should ideally be between 6-25°C. Dwell time is normally in the range 2-8 hours. Higher temperature and thinner paint coatings require shorter time. For convenience, longer dwell can be employed. If insufficient product is used, or dwell time is excessive, application of the softener must be repeated. This 'top up' coat will absorb more quickly and the dwell time reduced to 1-3 hours
Typical Coverage
A thickness of 0.5mm equates to 0.5 Litre of softener per square metre
Storage
Ensure product is stored at, or brought up to working temperatures prior to use. Ideal working temperature range from 5-25C. Avoid freezing and direct sunlight

20 kg

A mildly alkaline thixotropic cream for softening polyurethane and oil based household gloss and alkyd based masonry paints.

May be used internally or externally, and is water soluble.

Brush, roller or spray applied.

A thixotropic  gel for softening all resinous paints including graffiti.

Alcohol + solvent based – increased precautions apply.

For indoor and outdoor use. Water miscible.

Restorative Cement / Lime Paint Remover

A hydrochloric acid gel designed primarily for use on historic brickwork.

Strong acidic gel for the removal of cement based paint and calcified lime from brickwork.

Leave to gel for 3-5 minutes and agitate again

Restorative Alkaline Cream Paint Remover

20 kg

This product will effectively remove cross-linked oil-based paint such as linseed oil, distempers and works particularly well with gloss paints

This product is a low-odour, high-alkaline hydroxide paste. It can eat through multiple layers of paint in one application and unlike others on the market it can be brush applied which makes it easier to apply and remove.

Dwell
Normally 12-48 hours, depending on paint thickness and formulation but shorter dwell times sometimes apply (3-6 hours).
Typical Coverage
The substrate and ambient temperature should be between 6-25°C. Typical application rate 2-4kg per M² (1.5 -3mm)
Storage
Shelf life 24 months when stored in an air tight container, at a temperature of 6-20°c and out of direct sunlight
